The Guilford County Animal Shelter - Chamberlain

OMG!!! Have to share!!! This incredible dog was left abandoned in an overgrown yard for months with no food, water or shelter. He was so emaciated, that he began to lose muscle mass. When he was first rescued, he couldn't sit, stand or walk.....but due to the hard work of the people at The Guilford County Animal Shelter, Chamberlain is thriving!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?!?!

My son has joined the Northeast Middle School Rams football team.  Go RAMS!  As I travel around to his games at the various schools, I'm struck by how much Greensboro loves football!  This is middle school football folks, yet community members come out in full force to enjoy a good game!  The stadiums at every school have been absolutely amazing!  The concession stands are stocked like most professional stadiums, there are marching bands, electronic scoreboards, announcers and die hard fans!!!  I'm enjoying my Wednesday night ritual, just sorry that it only lasts a few weeks!
