Located approximately 30 miles north of Greensboro, the Eden Drive-In is the ultimate in family entertainment at an affordable price. The double feature costs $5. a person for ages 12+ and $2. per child, ages 6-11. This theater prides itself on its family atmosphere and anyone caught using profanity will be ejected without a warning.
My family and I like to make a night out of our visit. We usually shop at a dollar store for goodies and candy, pick up dinner at one of the many fast food restaurants in the area and then camp out with our blankets and folding chairs. Gates open at 7p and the movie usually starts at 9p. It gives families plenty of time to eat, play games and spend quality time together before the movies begin.
On any given night, you can find families with their pets, playing catch with their children and even barbecuing on a hibachi grill.
The drive-in has a concession stand on its premises with relatively decent prices, there are picnic tables both near the concession stand and in front of the big screen and a playground for the kids.
