Greensboro and the Underground Railroad

All these years I've been taught that the Underground Railroad began with Harriet Tubman (or its what I remember), but while reading several books this past weekend, I found out that the Underground Railroad actually began in Greensboro, at the present site of Guilford College, with the Quakers.  The "President of the Underground Railroad" was Levi Coffin, who was born near New Garden, in Guilford County.
